The Resort: What is the tide schedule like?

The tide comes in and out about every 6 hours or so, while the exact timing depends on time of the year. During low tide the waters retreat back by a few hundred metres allowing guests to walk out onto the seabed.

The Resort: Do all rooms have seaview?

We are happy to say that guests can enjoy a seaview from every room’s balcony. The best seaviews are from the Royal & Jacuzzi Ocean Suite balconies which open up to the ocean while the Deluxe room balconies have a side seaview and overlook the resort. Do note that during low tide, the sea retreats back a few hundred metres.

The Resort: What activities are there?

For complimentary activities, we have a Foosball table, a Pool table, free Karoake, a seafront swimming pool, a large outdoor Jacuzzi, and a small beach to laze on. Outdoor movie screenings also happen every night at our outdoor dining area.

Aside from these, an array of sea activities such as kelong visit, kayaking, snorkeling, mangrove tours etc can be conveniently booked at the resort itself. Kindly check the activities page for more information.

Getting Here: How do i get to the resort and what is the travelling time?

Coming from Singapore, you may take a 1 hour ferry from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (Singapore) to Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal (Bintan). From there our resort representative holding a “Bintan Spa Villa” sign & guest list will meet up with you. You will then take a free 1 hour air-conditioned bus ride to the resort

Book your 2 way ferry through us (as an “extra” in our instant online booking system or by booking a package which includes ferry), or directly with Bintan Resorts Ferry. If you booked your ferry on your own, please email your ferry timings to sales@bintanspavilla.com so we may arrange someone to pick you up.

Complimentary land transfer is from Bandar Bentan Telani – Resort – Bandar Bentan Telani only. If you are taking a ferry to Tanjung Pinang Ferry Terminal (Bintan), kindly hire a taxi at the ferry terminal to get to the resort.

Checking In: Can i check in earlier and check out later?

Official check in & check out time is 3pm & 12noon respectively. This is so that we have sufficient time to clean and make up the room for the next day’s guest.

Guests may request from our Front Office for an earlier check in or later check out time when you are at the resort (subject to room availability).

Additional Guests: What if I have would like to have additional guests in my room?

Our included occupancy for the Family Deluxe & Seafront Family Villa is 4 persons and all other rooms are 2 persons. All rooms may accommodate a maximum of 1 extra adult/child with bed + 1 child without bed at an additional charge. These additional charges includes the 2 way land transfer & breakfast for the additional person(s).

This additional charge will be automatically added when you book using our instant online booking system or tabulated by our staff when you make a package booking enquiry.

Extra Adult/Child with Bed: S$50 or Rp480,000
Child no Bed: S$35 or Rp350,000

While it would be preferable for the resort to be informed beforehand, if you decide on the day of check in to have an additional guest, you may make your payment for the additional person at the resort itself in Rupiah.

Payment: What currency can i pay in at the resort?

For cash payments at the resort, we only accept Indonesian Rupiah. However, we accept credit card payments as well.

Payment: Will there be additional tax/service charge on top of prices at the resort?

All prices of items in Bintan Spa Villa e.g. F&B, Spa, Activities, Sea Adventures, are subject to 10% Government Tax.

Electricity: Do i have to bring along a travel adapter?

For travelers who live in Singapore, no travel adapter is required. The resort provides Type G electrical outlet plugs (Same as Singapore, Malaysia, UK).

Accessibility: Does the resort have lift/wheelchair access for the elderly or disabled?

Unfortunately the 3 floor Deluxe block has no lift. Should any guest be unable to climb stairs, kindly notify us at sales@bintanspavilla.com in advance or when you make your booking so that we may prepare a room on the ground floor. All Royal & Jacuzzi Ocean Suites, Garden Deluxe, and the Seafront Family Villa are on the ground floor.

Special Diet: Do you provide for Vegetarian Guests?

Yes we do have a vegetarian menu available. You may check our vegetarian section of the restaurant menu here.

Special Diet: Is your restaurant Halal certified?

While we are not Halal Certified, we do not serve pork or lard at our restaurant. Additionally, all restaurant ingredients are from Halal Certified sources.

VISA: I am from _______, do i need to apply a VISA to enter Bintan Island?

Nationals of 90 countries can enter Bintan Island Indonesia without a VISA. Kindly check with this list if you are required to apply for a VISA.
